Headliner Boz Scaggs |
Bread & Roses hosted a 30th Anniversary Benefit Concert at the Regency
Center in San Francisco on March 10, 2005. The evening featured an elegant
jazz supper club concert with music by headliner Boz Scaggs and his band.
Jazz chanteuse Clairdee opened the show and tango dancers Jesica and Gustavo
Hornos performed to the live music of Tengo Tango.
Hats off to board member Suzanne Badenhoop of Mill Valley who was 30th
Anniversary Committee Chair and Mark Nelson, Bread & Roses Board Chair, who
ensured the success of this wonderful evening celebrating three decades of
Bread & Roses' mission of bringing live entertainment to Bay Area
institutionalized audiences.
Thanks also to all of our corporate and
foundation donors, those who generously contributed to our live
auction, and our in-kind contributors whose gifts of food and wine made this
special evening so delicious.
Last but not least, we are extremely grateful
to our hard-working event volunteers without whom none of our events would
be possible. |
