Bread & Roses inspires, educates, entertains and transforms hardship into hope by sharing the healing gift of live music with children undergoing chemotherapy, teens battling addiction, families living in homeless shelters, elders residing in Alzheimer’s facilities and others living apart from friends and family while facing challenging times.

 

Once a year, we hold a special benefit concert to ensure our important work continues. From the world famous Bread & Roses benefits at the Greek Theatre with artists including Jackson Browne, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell to intimate recent events with Bonnie Raitt, Boz Scaggs, Loudon Wainwright III, and Huey Lewis—Bread & Roses has consistently delivered on its promise to deliver an exceptional musical program, one that money alone cannot buy.

 

Our recipe for success is simple: an urgent cause, an extraordinary concert performed by celebrated artists, an intimate and elegant venue, sumptuous food and wine, and generous recognition of sponsors and guests.
